Drywall and texture work in Phoenix is one of those jobs that's easy to get almost right. You may have a hole from a doorknob, cracks above a doorway, a stain from an old leak, or a patch someone did that you can see from across the room. Spackle and a can of spray texture rarely match. We repair and install drywall and match the texture, so the repair disappears once it's painted.
Good drywall work is the base for everything that comes after it. Paint only looks as good as the wall underneath, and a wall that's flat and smooth with matching texture is what makes a fresh coat look professional instead of patched.
When You Need Drywall & Texture
Common reasons are holes from doorknobs and furniture, cracks at corners and above doors, water stains or soft spots from a past leak, and old patches that show through the paint. During a remodel, new walls and openings need drywall as well.
Water damage is the one not to wait on. A stain or soft spot means moisture got into the wall, and the cause should be found and fixed before the wall is patched.
Cracks that keep coming back in the same place, especially at the corners of doors and windows, are worth a closer look before they're patched, so the repair lasts.
Our Drywall & Texture Process
We start by looking at the damage and the texture around it. Then we cut out damaged drywall back to solid material, install new drywall, tape and mud the seams, and sand them smooth.
Matching texture is the hard part, and we take the time to get it right so the repair blends with the wall around it. After that, the wall is ready for paint, which we can do too. In a remodel, we install new drywall for new walls and openings as part of the same schedule. Your written estimate lists the timeline.
Common wall textures include knockdown and orange peel, and the trick is matching the pattern and the thickness. The goal is to blend the new texture into the old so the edge of the patch disappears.
We clean up at the end of each day.
Drywall & Texture Cost in Phoenix
Cost depends on how many areas need work, the size of the damage, the type of texture, and whether the repair needs paint afterward. Ceiling work takes more time than walls.
Your estimate is free, written and itemized, with no hidden fees.
Doing all the repairs in a house at once usually costs less than calling for each one separately, and it means the walls are ready for paint at the same time. If the damage came from a leak, the leak should be fixed first, and plumbing goes to a licensed partner we coordinate.
