Around Tempe
Tempe sits between Phoenix and the rest of the East Valley, and it's home to the main campus of Arizona State University. The Salt River runs west through the northern part of the city, where Tempe Beach Park is on Rio Salado Parkway and ASU Gammage is on Forest Avenue.
Head east along Rio Salado Parkway and you reach Tempe Marketplace at 2000 East. South Tempe is more spread out, with Arizona Mills off Arizona Mills Circle and the Tempe Public Library on Rural Road at 3500 South.
